Has a square back trigger guard. CONDITION: 75% original plating remains on the trigger guard with initials "LL" carved in and 40% original plating on the back strap. Indexes fine with tight lock-up. Strong rifled bore. This revolver is housed in an extremely rare walnut Colt case with recesses at bottom, brown felt and original lining. By itself, this case sold for $5,000. The case is in very good to excellent condition missing the key escutcheon and brass latch. Has a stress crack running from left to right on lid. Has usual dings and scuff marks, but lid is intact.
