Made in 1900, this early PHE still remains in very nice original condition. Made with 26" Twist steel barrels with matted rib and usual rib address and steel front bead. Barrel flats with serial number and unstruck barrel weight 3lbs 8oz and lug with 1-1/2 Frame size marking. Double triggers, auto-ejectors. Made with splinter forend which is checkered in diamond pattern with Deeley release and steel tip. Capped pistol grip buttstock checkered in two point pattern through the wrist with nickel shield near toe and terminates with modern black "Hawkins" brand pad. The case hardened action is engraved in typical PH pattern with "Parker Bros." on sides. CONDITION: Excellent as field used. Barrels retain nearly all of their bold original twist pattern and are quite striking. The action retains more than 50% nice light original case color, particularly bold on trigger plate. Trigger guard with about 20% original blue on bow, toned at tang. Stocks retain most of what appears to be their original finish with scattered minor bumps. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanics are fine. Barrels do have keels at muzzle but may have been nipped. These 26" 12 gauge Parkers are a hoot to use in the field and this gun would improve dramatically with the addition of a proper Silver's type pad.
