Circa 1800, this tomahawk has a fine eastern style head with flared blade and large octagonal bowl. Very fine file work is executed on the pipe bowl and eye. Fine interlaced design of punch dots, circles, daisies, and cross-hatchings are on both sides of the blade and about the bowl. The haft is decorated with brass tacks in rows and wrapped with brass and iron wire. Former Don Euing collection.
