Manufactured 1988 through 1994 in very limited quantities, the Hecker and Koch P7-K3 is a scaled down version of the iconic P7 9mm and .40 caliber platform pistols. Chambered for the 9mm Kurz or .380 ACP cartridge with an 8 round magazine capacity. Unlike the gas-retarded action of the full size P7 the K3 is an inertia blow back action. The K3 can be converted to .32 ACP as well as .22 LR with the factory produced conversion units that were available at time of initial production. This example is the American variation with a adjustable rear sight and a semi-finger rest left grip panel as well as the standard non-finger rest right grip panel. Gun is factory import marked Chantilly VA . Unlike the larger P7 variations the K3 has a removable barrel assembly using a barrel nut. Traditional thumb release magazine release, blue finish, and three dot sights. Comes complete with numbers matching factory plastic box, manual, spare magazine and maintenance tool. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine with slight traces of finish wear on squeeze cocker from handing. The factory blue finish is excellent with no losses except as noted on squeeze cocker. The polygonal bore is exceptional, bright and shiny. The action is crisp and functions properly. The box is excellent with clear markings. Operators manual is slightly worn but complete. The maintenance tool appears to be pristine. Spare magazine is equally fine. A rare opportunity to own one of Hecker & Koch's rarest pistol variations in prime condition.
