Features include round barrel, integral post front sight, 50 to 500 meter rear tangent sight, integral ten round box magazine, second type safety and wood grips with a red "9" embossed on both grips. Over the chamber is "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER OBERNDORF/N" and on the right side "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER OBERNDORF NECKAR". Typical heavy machining marks and poorly fitted grips. 150,000 of these were ordered by the German army in 1916. CONDITION: All matching numbers. Gun retains approximately 92% of the original factory blue finish showing some handling marks and high edge wear. Fair bore with some frosting in the lands an grooves. Grips have 34 groves and have the "9" branded into the grip panels.
