This incredible rifle was shipped on June 21st, 1894 with a full octagon barrel, full magazine in .45-90 caliber with plain trigger and deluxe checkered pistol grip walnut stock with standard case colored rifle buttplate. It exhibits 3X fiery grain. Pistol grip has ebony insert. Rear sight is semi-buckhorn. CONDITION: Barrel retains 85% original factory blue with just basic high edge wear. Razor sharp edges and legends. Tube retains 90% original blue. Frame retains approximately 85%+ original case colors, most of which are still brilliant, especially on right side. Brilliant case colors on sides of hammer and lever. Even the buttplate retains case colors. Most of the screws retain their high polish finish on tang and buttplate. Stocks have a few minor dings but the majority of original gloss and finish is there with sharp checkering. Fine action. Near mint bore. An extraordinary, used but well care for deluxe 1886 in a great caliber.
