One of the most sought after Winchester Model 1894's are those carbines that display special features as they were seldom ordered as such. Features full round barrel, full magazine, twin barrel bands, standard post and bead front sight, carbine express rear sight, additional tang sight, saddle ring and stud, non-checkered pistol grip walnut stock, Winchester grip cap, and Winchester logo black composite buttplate. Caliber is the desirable .32-40. CONDITION: All metal is a mix of brown-grey patina with flashes of blue on barrel. All legends are sharp. Case colors have faded. Wood is excellent, proud to metal, with usual handling marks. True screws. Fine action. Near mint, strong rifled bore with some frosting and darkness. It is extremely difficult to find special order carbines and this example is far above average.
