A good example of this scarce and desirable pistol with frame lightly engraved with vine leaves and scrolls. Checkered gutta percha grips. Ring attachment to pull-down magazine. CONDITION: Barrel retains considerable original blue finish. Engraved frame retains some original bright nickel. Spring on right side of frame retains nearly all of its bright nitre blue. Magazine spring is tight. Gutta percha grips appear almost as new. Barrel with Liege proof. Action is crisp. Bore has visible rifling with some pitting. One of the more interesting oddity squeezer pistol, a Merveilleux is a must for a collector of oddities.
