A most interesting pair of Ottoman pistols with 10" Spanish form barrels complete and deeply etched with Islamic calligraphy. The convex locks with roller bearing frizzens. Swan neck cocks with foliate engraving. Plain silver furniture comprising trigger guard, inlay at butt, and false ramrod. The walnut fullstocks inlaid with silver wire in the pattern spurred butts. CONDITION: Barrels are polished. Locks are polished and retain all their original small parts. Top jaws and screws are originals. Silver furniture somewhat worn and polished. Walnut stocks are worn with silver wire losses. Bores are fair. One hammer stuck.
