Lot consists of a pair of French 1837 Marine Pistols. Includes belt hooks and stirrup rammers. Back action lock signed "M.F.R. De Chatellerault" and breech tangs marked "M 1837". CONDITIONS: The locks and barrels retain some original bright polish with minor staining. Belt hooks are crisp, brass furniture in good condition throughout. Actions are crisp, bore are good. Walnut stocks with scattered dents and mars from military storage. The classic 19th century French marine service pistols.
