Made in 1903, this No. 2 frame gun has 30" Damascus barrels. It was built with a splinter, double triggers, extractors, and non-auto safety. Top rib with normal barrel legend and unstruck barrel weight of "4lbs 110z" stamped on barrel flats. The splinter forend is checkered in standard DH grade pattern with engraved Deeley release and steel tip. The replacement straight grip buttstock is checkered in standard DH grade pattern with three point checkering through the wrist, tear drops behind action and terminates in a black ventilated "White Lined" pad which is beginning to harden. Action is engraved in standard DH grade pattern. CONDITION: Very good as partially restored. Barrels retain about 85% original contract Damascus pattern with areas of thinning but nice and bold throughout. Forearm is missing a small splinter on right side near muzzle but is otherwise sound and retains nearly all of a restored finish. Buttstock, a replacement as noted above, retains nearly all of its custom finish. Receiver has retain about 30% original color. Action is very slightly loose on the hinge, otherwise mechanics are fine. Bores are very good.
