Made on a double square bridge Mauser action, this gun exhibits fine quality workmanship throughout. It is mounted with a Redfield 2x-7x scope. Finely jeweled bolt. 24" barrel by William Hobaugh. Blued barrel with two gold bands at muzzle. Beautiful walnut stock is checkered in point pattern at forearm and at wrist with horn forend nosecap. Stock with capped full pistol grip, and chin strap behind grip. Steel grip cap is nicely engraved with scroll on trap door and cross pattern on edges. Double beaded cheekpiece on left side of stock and the stock terminates with a checkered steel buttplate with trap door. Some screws are engraved. Top tang safety. Canjar set trigger. Engraving by Arnold Griebel. Leather sling. CONDITION: Extremely fine as customized. Retaining nearly all custom finish to both wood and metal with only the most minor of handling marks. Mechanics are good, but Canjar trigger will not set. Bore is brilliant and shiny. Truly a beautiful rifle!
