Wonderful large frame double action Adams revolver with retailers markings. Barrel is marked "DEANE ADAMS AND DEANE 30 KING WILLIAMS ST LONDON BRIDGE". One piece checkered walnut grips with engraved buttcap with trap for nipple. Lightly scroll engraved upon the frame flats and marked "Adams patent No 88917". Massive .50 caliber bore diameter with five shot non-fluted cylinder. Housed in it English pattern oak case with green woven wool lining and partitioned for its bag flask, loading rammer, two cavity (.38 bore) mold, and nipple wrench. Oil bottle and wad cutter are present as well. Very nice retailers label in lid from Dean Adams and Deane. CONDITION: Very fine with most blue finish remaining. Bore and mechanics are very good and properly functioning. The case is very solid with lightly soled interior. Accessories are good overall with period patina and storage marks. Very pleasing overall that would benefit from a detailed cleaning.
