The following caps have had names embossed on their leather sweatbands. The caps are original US Army General officer's full dress caps, but we are of the opinion that the names have been added post period.
Consists of: A) Interior marked by the maker "Bernard", the name "A.M Gruenther" has been embossed on the sweatband, stiffener removed. CONDITION: Excellent. B) Interior marked by the maker "Berkshire De Luxe", embossed on the sweatband with the initials "J.M.W", a button picturing General Jonathan Wainwright has been pinned to the front. Gold bullion eagle insignia. CONDITION: Excellent. C) Interior marked by maker "Berkshire De Luxe", the name "Bradley, O" has been embossed on the leather sweatband. CONDITION: Excellent. D) Interior marked by maker "Morry Luxenberg", the name "Omar N. Bradley" has been embossed on the sweatband. CONDITION: Excellent.
