The following caps have had names embossed on their leather sweatbands. The caps are original USAF officer's caps, but we are of the opinion that the names have been added post period. Consists of: A) USAF General Officer's cap , the name "Gen Thomas D. White" has been embossed on the sweatband. CONDITION: Excellent. B) USAF General Officer's cap , interior marked by the maker "Flight Ace", embossed on the sweatband "Edmundson, James V". CONDITION: Excellent. C) USAF General Officer's cap. Interior marked by maker "Flight Ace", the name "Bruce Holloway" has been embossed on the leather sweatband. CONDITION: Excellent. D) USAF General Officer's cap, the name "Curtis E. Lemay" has been embossed on the sweatband. CONDITION: Excellent. E) USAF officer's garrison cap with four stars pinned on one side, the name "Curtis E. Lemay" has been embossed on the sweatband. CONDITION: Moderate wear to the silver piping, partially detached sweatband. F) 3 photographs of General Lemay, measuring 8"X 10", 6-1/2" X 8" and 8" X 8-3/4" in excellent condition. G) Two laminated letters, one granting the actor Jackie Cooper permission to wear Naval Aviators wings on his Naval Reserve uniform, dated 18 June, 1970 and one letter transferring Captain Cooper to the retired list, dated 23 June, 1983. Both in excellent condition.
