The following caps have had names embossed on their leather sweatbands. The caps are original US Army officer's caps, but we are of the opinion that the names have been added post period. Consists of: A) Full dress General Officer's cap, interior marked by the maker "Luxenberg", the name "C. H. Hodges" has been embossed on the sweatband. CONDITION: Excellent. B) Full dress General Officer's cap, interior marked "Berkshire DeLuxe", embossed on the sweatband "C.W. Abrams". CONDITION: Very good with partially detached sweatband. C) Interior marked by maker "Flight Ace", the name "Taylor Maxwell" has been embossed on the leather sweatband. CONDITION: Excellent. D) Fine quality pre-World War II General Officer's dress visor cap, maker marked by "Outdoor Military Stores", the name "J.M. Wainwright" has been embossed on the sweatband. CONDITION: Excellent. E) White top officer's dress cap, the name "C. R. Codman" has been embossed on the sweatband. CONDITION: Excellent.
