Manufactured by Leica for the German military. These cameras came in a array of different variations, with varying body finishes. This particular camera was manufactured for the Luftwaffe and has brass operating components, with a black painted finish on the frame. Body wrap is made of wood. The top is marked "Luftwaffe" below a Reichsadler. Serial number "245464" found in front of flash mount. 50mm lens is marked "Leitz Elmar 1:3.5 F=50mm". Lens f-stop is f/3.5 to f/18. Brass lens cap is present. CONDITION: Good overall. Brass components show areas of tarnishing with some areas turning a pleasing mustard colored patina. Black painted areas on frame show chipping. Wood wrap shows aging with cracks to the surface of the wood. Overall a fine example of a Luftwaffe camera. CORRECTION: It has come to our attention that this is not a Leica camera but instead a clever Russian reproduction of a Leica.

Item Dimensions: 5 - 1/4" x 3".
