This military type musket was made in 1920, the last year the Hi-Wall was made. It featured a round barrel, a military type rear sight graduated to 2,000 yards, a small ramp front base with dovetailed front blade, nearly full length forend with finger groove, single barrel band, sling swivels, walnut stock, and military carbine type metal buttplate. There is an "X" carved into the left grip area of stock. These were finished in blue and chambered for the .22 Long Rifle rimfire cartridge. It is not US marked in any way and was made for commercial sale only. CONDITION: Barrel retains about 90% thinning blue with sharp barrel legends. The frame is basically a dark, soft patina. Stocks are excellent with deep, rich color. The rifling is visible, needs a solid cleaning but still shows wear.
