Lot consists of (A) Blade and guard of standard form with leather covered wood grip and numerous inspector's marks throughout including P / GG and Dr. In association reproduction leather scabbard. CONDITION: Blade was pitted and has either been heavily polished or plated. Guard has had dents removed and smoothed. Grip retains most of its leather missing much original paint. Scabbard is a reproduction. An acceptable example of the standard U.S. Civil War Naval Cutlass. (B) Japanese NCO sword with 26 - 1/2" blade in its steel scabbard with perished leather boot. Serial number 11950. Matching scabbard. (C) Spanish sword with etched blade dated 1861 by the Royal Factory in Toledo. Blade is 30", 35 - 1/2" overall. (D) Spanish engineers sword with etched blade measuring a 30 - 1/2" and 36" overall. (E) Unusual Nazi officer's sword, brass hilt, winged eagle with swastika on langet. 33 - 1/4" blade, 39" overall. (F) Reproduction samurai sword in case. 42" overall. An interesting group of swords. Please note that three have no scabbards. CONDITION: Some blades patinated, others good.
