1917 Navy Luger featuring short frame, round barrel, dovetailed inverted V front sight, two position adjustable 100-200 meter rear sight on rear toggle link, walnut checkered grips, and eight round detachable box magazine with wood bottom and concentric rings. Grips and sideplate are not numbered. The firing pin is unnumbered and unrelieved. "DWM" in scroll on the front toggle link with the crown M proofs on the left side of the receiver. 1917 above the chamber, left side of frame and on the left side of the front sight base. The extractor is marked "Geladen", safety is marked "Gesichert" in the upper position. CONDITION: Bright and shiny bore. Lands and grooves show some wear. Two piece checkered walnut grips show some wear, the left grip has a chip under the safety lever. Gun retains approximately 70% of the original rust blue finish. The barrel has some freckling and has had some cold blue applied to it. 30% of the original straw color remains on the small parts. Comes with two original Navy magazines; one is marked "GERMANY" and one is numbered 3832. Also has one nickel wood bottom magazine numbered 3950l. Original commercial Navy stock with tin disk with a crown "M" proof, marked "GERMANY" and numbered 9548. The stock has been sanded and has a row of dots around the right side. A hard to find Imperial Navy Luger with some commercial items added to it.
