California style hunter with an upswept blade having a sharpened false edge, marked on its ricasso WILL & [FINCK], S.F. [CAL]. The tapered full tang is handled in scales of elk antler, with brass pins. The leather sheath is very old and highly unusual, completely encasing the knife such that it cannot be lost. CONDITION: The blade has been sharpened and used but is in clean condition and still rather sharp. Leather belt sheath appears to have had the belt loop moved from one side to the other, at some point.
