Ivory scales carved in high relief with a soldier in the Pre-Raphaelite style, armed with a sword. The clip point master blade is marked A RIBIS, HABANA on its face; the two smaller blades are a cutting blade and an awl, and there is also a corkscrew on the back side. Likely made in France for sale by a Cuban retailer of the late 19th century. CONDITION: A chip is missing from the figure's head on the obverse and the master blade shows a little sharpening, but overall condition is excellent.
