Curved blade with wide, shallow fuller on each side. Both sides engraved with floral motifs and arms. Steel stirrup hilt with languettes. Leather wrapped grip decorated with strands of twisted brass wire. Complete with original steel scabbard, slotted at throat for languettes. CONDITION: Fair; blade retains a heavy brown patina with traces of gilt in engraved designs. Blade is bent about 2" forward of ricasso. One languette is a contemporary replacement. Hilt retains a dark, heavy patina. Grips shows some losses to wrap. Pommel cap has one crack and a small area of loss. Scabbard retains a matching dark, heavy patina with some corrosion.
