Large curved two-stage body of 16-1/2" in length with a faceted spout section followed by two scalloped relief rings. The wooden plug at the butt is convex. The body is decorated with three horizontal bands of repeating designs. The center band is dated "1794". CONDITION: Pleasing light honey patina. Some chipping to rings below spout and one 1-1/2" age crack. Plug has some losses and flange for sling is absent. A nice horn with appealing architecture.
