Curved 17" body with faceted spout and flange with two holes for sling at plug end. Wood plug. Body inscribed "BeNjAMIN DIke / HIS HOHRN / BenJam DIKE/ LAK GORG AvgEST 4 1759". The horn is also decorated with a large "tree of life", borders and designs, and a domed two-story building. CONDITION: Retains a pleasing light honey patina. Spout has minor cracks and losses, flange has some chipping to face. A very early and attractive Lake George powder horn.
