Made in Meriden, Connecticut, this is a mid-grade gun made with Twist steel barrels, matted top rib with brass front bead. Checkered splinter forend with Deeley release and small Schnabel tip. Case hardened action is nicely engraved with dogs on sideplates and border pattern. Blued trigger guard. Made with double triggers, extractors, and auto safety. Capped pistol grip buttstock is checkered in three point pattern through the wrist and terminates with a lined hard rubber buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine for this model. Barrels retain about 95% original twist pattern. Action retains about 70% mousey grey case color. Trigger guard and safety button retain most of their original blued finish. Stocks are very good and retain most of what appears to be their original finish. There is a small chip on bottom of right lock. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanics are fine.
