Lot consists of: (A) High condition Remington Model 1903-A3 with a barrel date of 9-43. Every part is correct for this model. The stock is stamped with the crossed cannons along with "FJA" Frank Atwood inspector stamp, proof "P" on wrist and "RA" for Remington. CONDITION: The bore and action are near mint. ME reading: 1. TE reading: 2. Retains nearly all the original military finish on metal and the stocks are near mint with just a few normal bumps and marks. (B) Used the barreled actions from a standard Remington Model 1903-A3. The barrel was cut to 23" and a ramp front sight was fitted along with an adjustable rear sporting sight. This barreled action is fitted to a re-conformed half stock with pistol grip and rubber pad added. Original barrel TE reading: 3. ME reading: 2. Metal retains approximately 90% of its original World War II finish. Wood is very good with usual handling marks. Comes with web sling.
