The bronze figure depicting an Cicero in robes, half rising from his seat, pleading his turn to be heard, his right arm outstretched for emphasis. Signed "Alfano / Napoli" on the rear of chair seat cushion. The bronze titled on the front of platform, translating to "QUO USQUE TANDEM" (FOR HOW MUCH LONGER). Condition is very good with untouched surface and very dark brown patina. Provenance:Mauricio Art Collection, NY.
