Standard US Model 1898 rifle. Features full length finger groove walnut stock that has the script "P" at wrist but no visible dated cartouche on left side of stock, walnut handguard, sling swivels, trapdoor buttplate, and Krag rifle rear sight. CONDITION: Stock is excellent with usual handling marks. Metal is a smooth blue drifting patina mix. Rifling is visible but dull. Fine action. Comes with a period sling that is broken and an oiler. Nice looking Krag.
