1915 dated SMLE training rifle stamped on right rear band with "N22 IV" with numerous other crown and British proofs. This is a nice looking trainer in fine condition with a rifle system for military and cadet training. This one has handsome hardwood stocks with no brass stock disc present and blued finish on the metal. Chambered in .22 long rimfire the bore is brite with very good rifling. Bolt serial number does not match and the magazine is hollow to captured spent brass as it is made to be a single shot. CONDITION: The first digit of the serial number is 4 but is not very visible. Fine bore and action. Wood has usual handling marks.
