Post World War I production of the classic New Service made for the US Military. Bottom of barrel is stamped "UNITED STATES PROPERTY". Bottom of butt is stamped "US ARMY MODEL 1917 124634". Left side of frame has Springfield inspection stamp along with Colt pony. Gun features six shot, double action, fluted cylinder, walnut grips, and lanyard loop. Made for half moon clips. CONDITION: Retains approximately 80% of the dull military finish with numerous handling marks and some white paint on front sight. Razor sharp legends. Indexes and locks up correctly. Strong, clean bore.
