Lot consists of: World War I uniform group which consists of: Navy Jumper with 1st Class Gunner's Mate rate on right sleeve and service chevron on left cuff, named on the interior “ H.R. Burns”. Pinned to the chest is a U.S. Navy Fleet Supply Base identification badge. Pair of matched trousers also named to Burns. U.S. Navy flat hat with “U.S. Navy Aeronautic Station silk band. Two World War I Navy stereo views. Uniform is in very good condition showing moderate service wear. Group identified to Walter James Elliott who served on the submarine U.S.S. Crevalle during World War II. The group consists of: Post World War II tunic with bullion CPO Fire Control Technician rate and four service stripes on left sleeve. Pinned to the chest is a nine ribbon bar, pin-back sterling Submarine Badge by H-H, sterling Submarine Combat Patrol Badge with three stars and SSBN Deterrent Badge. Included is a Chief Petty Officer visor cap, Bronze Star Citation, Navy graduation certificates, original and copied photographs, service related documents, veteran magazines and publications, 20-1/2” metal Submarine Badge, Book “United States Submarine Operations in World War II” printed in 1958, named to Elliot, 7” USS Neosho bronze plaque, 7-3/4” USS Howard W. Gilmore bronze plaque, Asian made silk purse with stenciled battleship design in very good condition. Tunic is in excellent condition showing minor wear, paperwork exhibits soiling and wear.
