M.Walker Chronometer, Glasgow & Greenock, number 1797, 4" silvered dial with subsidiary seconds and up/down indicator marked "M.Walker & Son. / Makers To The Admiralty. / Glasgow & Greenock / 1797 / U.S. Army", full plate, chain fusee movement, in a fully gimbaled brass bowl, all housed in a three-tier mahogany box with plaque marked "M.Walker & Son / Glasgow / & / Greenock / No 1797". Case measures 7-3/4" square. Chronometer is in excellent running condition.
