Litherland Davies & Co. Two-day Marine Chronometer, Liverpool, no. 52603/12795, with 3 1/2" silvered dial, blued hands, roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and up/down dials, brass gimbaled bowl, chain fusee movement with two-arm split bimetallic balance, helical hairspring, and detent escapement, in brass-bound, three-tier refinished mahogany box measuring 6-3/4" square. Contained within a mahogany outer box of later construction. Chronometer is in excellent running condition. CORRECTION: Photo added.
