Charles Cummins Marine Chronometer , number 1417. 3-1/2". silvered roman numeral dial, inscribed "Charles Cummins / 1417", seconds dial, blued spade hour hands, blued-steel seconds, screw-fit glazed bezel, brass gimbal and bowl, in a three-tier, 7" square, rosewood box with brass carrying handles, with front plate reading " Charles Cummins / London / No 1417". Box is housed in felt-lined dove tailed mahogany box with leather carry straps. Chronometer is in excellent running condition. CORRECTION: Photo added.
