The spyglass is marked "U.S. NAVY SPYGLASS / QUARTERMASTER MARK II 16 POWER / BU SHIPS SERIAL 29014 1942 / HAYWOOD LOS ANGELES". In very good condition with clear optics and tight string wrap. The wood cased is slightly warped and shows wear to its finish. Front displays a brass plate repeating the spyglass data and with matching number.
