Lot contains: (A) Heer Lion Head sword, (B) Heer "Eickhorn" Dove Head sword, and (C) Heer "W.K.C." Dove Head sword. (A) Heer Officer Lion Head sword with an unmarked 34 - 1/2" blade which appears to have been heavily polished, as no plating remains. Blade has moderate runner and scattered marks with light freckling to 10-15% of its surface. Ruby glass eyed gold gilded aluminum fittings retain 90-95% of their original finish, with damage present on the top of the pommel from what appears to be from a blade replacement. Wire-wrapped trylon grip is undamaged. Black painted steel scabbard retains approximately 90% of its original finish, with scattered light marks throughout. CONDITON: Blade is good, fittings are excellent, and scabbard is excellent. Overall very good to excellent condition. (B) Heer Officer deluxe Dove Head sword with "Eickhorn" marked 32 - 1/2" nickel plated blade, with very light runner marks. Brass fittings have a nice patina, and wire-wrapped trylon grip is undamaged. Black painted steel scabbard retains approximately 95% of its original finish, with finish missing on the loop and ring. Scabbard is too long for the blade, and is likely to have been replaced. CONDITON: Blade is mint, fittings are excellent, and scabbard is near mint. Blade and scabbard are likely replacements. Overall near mint condition based on the finish. (C) Heer Officer (Fire Protection Officer assigned) deluxe Dove Head sword with "W.K.C." marked 30 - 1/2" chrome plated blade, with very light runner and scattered marks. Gold gilded aluminum fittings retain 80-85% of their gilt, and wire-wrapped trylon grip has several loose strands. Cross-guard eagle is a variant used by "W.K.C.". Black painted steel scabbard retains approximately 80-85% of its original finish, with scattered marks and freckling throughout. Sword retains the correct fire protection officer portepee, and has several damaged wire strands. CONDITON: Blade is near mint. Fittings, scabbard, and portepee are excellent. Overall excellent condition.
