Lot consists of: World War II Japanese Type 98 stick grenade. The stick is in very good condition, with some scratches and discoloration. The body is in fine condition, with general wear showing on the paint. There are no markings on the stick or body. (B) An improvised Japanese grenade from World War II, this is a fairly well documented model most often recovered from the Philippine Islands. A short cylinder, it has a removable cap with an improvised .22 rimfire igniter protruding from the center. Typical of most examples seen, it is in very good condition.
