Post-WWII German Hirschfanger hunting dagger with an exceptional unmarked chrome plated triple-etched blade, with very light runner marks. Dagger fittings and stag handle are undamaged, and the "DJV" emblem is original to the handle. Dagger is likely to be the from the postwar "Deutsche Jagdverband", founded in 1949. Attached to the dagger is the original tag for the maker/ distributor "Hubertus" in Solingen. Scabbard is made from what appears to be green plastic, and the fittings retain more than 90% of their finish. CONDITION: Near mint.
