Lot consists of: (A) British carbine triangular socket bayonet. Blade measures 13-3/8". Socket measures 3-1/4" with a 7/8" diameter. Top of blade marked "HEELY * 1 / AH". CONDITION: Retains a grey patina with some darker areas. Markings excellent. (B) American triangular socket bayonet. Blade measures 13". Socket measures 3-1/8" with 7/8" diameter. CONDITION: Retains a dark, heavy patina. Tip with some minor damage. Crack from notch to end of socket. (C) American socket bayonet. Triangular blade measures 14-1/4". Socket measures 3-1/8" with a 1" diameter. Appears to have remnants of a "US" or "CP" surcharge on arm. Socket inscribed with two sets of lines. CONDITION: Has been cleaned; retains a mostly grey patina with some darker areas, as well as scattered marks from use. (D) Unmarked triangular socket bayonet, probably Dutch. Blade measures 12-3/4". Socket measures 2-3/8". CONDITION: Shows scattered marks from use,and a mostly dark, pitted patina. A large portion of the socket is missing. (E) Civil War bayonet in relic condition with some bending and losses to tip.
