Galle vase has marquetry body with swirls of brown and white on the bottom portion shading to a dusty blue at the top. Veins of green rise from the foot and extend to the shoulder. The vase is further decorated with an applied red glass cabochon, as well as intaglio carved leaves. The vase also has a verse etched into its side. The etched words are done in decorative script. Signed on the back with etched signature "GALLE". Condition is very good to excellent.
