9-1/4" octagonal barrel with partridge front and fully adjustable rear sights on breech tang. Breech with rudimentary shell engraving. Back action lock with shell engraving en suite. Dolphin form hammer en suite. Set trigger. German silver mounts engraved en suite with lock, barrel, and breech. Buttcap stamped with serial number 6052. Figured walnut full stock finely carved at wrist and checkered. CONDITION: Barrel appears to have some original finish under patination, minor pitting on one flat. Lock is crisp, hammer somewhat patinated. Flash pitting at breech from firing. German silver mounts are crisp. Stock with only minor wear, a few marks. Multigroove rifled barrel is excellent, action is crisp and set trigger functions.
