Bronze portrait bust titled "Nathan der Veiss". A Jewish merchant from a book by Gotthold Ephraim Lessing, published 1779. The bust, mounted on a rouge marble base inscribed signature on lower rear "AKT-GLADENBECK & SON". With undisturbed dark olive color and patina. Size: 7 - 1/4" tall by 6" wide by 3" deep.
