Lot consists of (A) a late 16th century peascod form breastplate, possibly English, together with (B) an etched miniature full suit of armor, measuring 27 - 1/2" high of 20th century make, (C) An early 19th century cuirass breast and backplate. CONDITION: The breastplate struck with a mark, rope edge, missing one gusset, showing great age and exfoliation but of fine form. The etched suit of armor of good size, partially articulated on darkened oak stand. Breast and backplate are patinated throughout.
