Lot consists of: (A) Poor boy style flintlock rifle with curly maple plain fullstock. Iron furniture with grease hole and crude line carving. Octagon barrel with rifle sights. Hardwood ramrod. CONDITION: Overall nice aged patina with several cracks in wood. Carving possibly added or retraced. Mechanically sound. (B) Southern style mountain rifle with iron furniture. Octagon barrel signed "JG" possibly John or James Gillespie of North Carolina. Fullstock of walnut or possibly cherry. Percussion lock with double set triggers. Original ramrod. CONDITION: Overall well used condition with several repaired crack in wood. Missing front ramrod pipe. Mechanically functions fine.
