This was certainly a glorious high grade gun when new, made with Damascus barrels with matted rib and ivory front bead with makers name on rib and inlaid in gold on tops "MODIFIED CHOKE" on right and "FULL CHOKE" on left. Fully scroll and floral engraved sidelock action with sideclips, and has butterfly wings on bottoms. Triggerguard with scroll and floral pattern and SN at tang. Round knob pistol grip buttstock is beautifully checkered in flowing wave and panel pattern through the wrist, has small 3/4" wood extension at butt and no buttplate or pad present. Made with double triggers, extractors, and auto safety. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels retain about 70%+ original pattern. Action has toned gray with no color remaining. Stocks are excellent as restored long ago. Action is loose on the hinge and needs a rejoint. Bores with beginning orange peel.
