Tiffany Favrile glass jelly jar has subtle gold iridescent finish, which shows strong blue and platinum highlights. The glass is signed on the underside "L. C. TIFFANY - FAVRILE". The jar is completed with a sterling silver collar, lid and handle. The handle has a simple mechanical works that lifts the lid when lowered. Works from either side. The silver lid is marked "TIFFANY & CO. 15111 MAKERS 378D STERLING SILVER 925-1000". Obviously a collaboration between father and son businesses. The lid is monogrammed with conjoined initials. There are few tiny little scratches to the iridescent finish. Very good to excellent condition.
