Lot consists of (A) Shinto Wakizashi with the blade with thin ko suguha temper line. Shinogi sukuri form blade. Slightly suriage nakago with two mekugi-ana. CONDITION: In almost full polish with no major kizu, patination on the nakago is excellent. Habaki with a heart cutout. Blade contained in an old shirasaya with well executed sayagaki in good condition. (B) Naginata shape with thin temper running close to the edge. Grooves are inexpertly cut. Nakago with one mekugi-ana showing great age. A stout blade and an interesting shape. CONDITION: Blade with a serious kizu 3" from the tip on the right side. Several other minor tateware and a number of microchips to edge. Possibly a very old blade and well worthy of study. Blade has an old brown wrapped handle with mismatching fujikashura, copper habaki, and plain wood saya, repaired with tape.
