The blade with medium curvature of shinogi tsukuri shape with complex ko midare temper line. The tang with two mekugi-ana showing great age and excellent color. Appears to be masame hada. CONDITION: In good old polish with only extremely minor stains, some openings, but none serious. Silver washed habaki. Sword is contained in a very old, probably 19th century, shirasaya with elaborate sayagaki attributing sword to Norimitsu. Sword is a worthy candidate for shinsa.
