Lot consists of: (A) Scope with mounts has the original grasshopper rear adjusting ring with original front ring. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% of the original high polish blue finish with some minor age freckling. Has simple wide post optics that are clear as day. (B) Scope with no mounts. Fine line and post clear optics. CONDITION: 75% original blue but thinning. Winchester introduced the Model A-5 scope in 1909. Scopes measure 16", 5x, 3/4" tube. The A-5 scope was widely used by snipers during the first World War on both the Springfield 1903 as well as the Winchester P-17.
